Gewerkschaft Heldrungen II was a mining cooperative operating in the Heldrungen district of Thuringia, and like many German industrial operations of the early twentieth century, it issued its own token currency for use within the company's closed economic ecosystem — essentially scrip redeemable only at company-controlled outlets.
