| Reverse description | Beaded rim encircling the entire design. The legend KRIEGSGELD arcs along the upper portion of the field in bold raised letters. The large denomination numeral 10 occupies the center of the coin in prominent raised relief, separated from the denomination inscription PFENNIG below by a horizontal raised line. A small star ornament appears at the base of the design near the lower rim. The composition and layout are characteristic of German municipal emergency coinage of World War I. |
