Two pink ribbon banderoles arc above the vignette, each carrying a poetic inscription in black Gothic script. The legend NOTGELD · STADT · ILMENAU appears in bold black capitals across the top, while the denomination "10" and "Pfg." are set in large white numerals and letters at the lower left and right respectively, with the printer's imprint "Schneider & Co., Ilmenau i. Thür." in small type at the lower right margin. |
