| Obverse description | Outer pearl border encircles the entire field, within which a secondary inner pearl circle frames the central device. The coat of arms of Gostyn, depicted as a crenellated city gate with three towers and an arched central portal, occupies the center of the coin. Below the arms, a decorative foliate or scroll ornament separates the device from the date 1917 in the lower field. The circular legend MAGISTRAT DER KREISSTADT GOSTYN runs along the periphery between the outer pearl rim and the inner pearl circle, divided by lozenge or star stops. |
