附加信息	Fürstenwalde's 1918 iron notgeld came out of the same wartime metal shortage that gutted Germany's entire small-change supply — by mid-1918 copper, nickel, and zinc had been commandeered so thoroughly for munitions that hundreds of municipalities were left to issue their own emergency coinage in whatever material remained available. Iron was the default for many Brandenburg towns, though it corrodes readily in circulation, which explains why uncorroded survivors are harder to find than the mintage figures alone would suggest.
