The dexter half of the shield displays the diagonal bend sinister of Baden, while the sinister half bears a standing figure of a vintner or townsman in relief against a hatched field. A rectangular scroll below the shield bears the validity dates '1914/18' in raised numerals. The legend 'STADT' appears to the left and 'EMMENDINGEN' to the right of the arms, arcing along the inner field. |
