A serial number prefixed 'SFB No.' is printed at the upper right, with the date 'Septbr. 1917' at the lower left and four manuscript signatures at the lower right.

备注	Chemische Fabrik Griesheim-Elektron was one of Germany's most significant industrial chemical producers — a major supplier of chlorine gas for the German military's chemical weapons program during the First World War. This 10 Pfennig piece is Fabriksgeld, factory-issued emergency money paid directly to workers when the Reichsbank could no longer supply adequate small-denomination coinage. The wartime metal shortage had effectively killed the circulation of low-value coins by 1917. Griesheim-Elektron later merged into what became IG Farben in 1925.
