| 备注 |
Chemische Fabrik Griesheim-Elektron was one of Germany's most significant industrial chemical producers — a major supplier of chlorine gas for the German military's chemical weapons program during the First World War. This 10 Pfennig piece is Fabriksgeld, factory-issued emergency money paid directly to workers when the Reichsbank could no longer supply adequate small-denomination coinage. The wartime metal shortage had effectively killed the circulation of low-value coins by 1917.
Griesheim-Elektron later merged into what became IG Farben in 1925.
