背面描述 The reverse displays the municipal coat of arms of Cammin occupying the majority of the field, set within a pointed shield. The upper portion of the shield features a haloed figure of John the Baptist seated in frontal pose against a crosshatched background, flanked on either side by elaborate foliate scroll ornaments. The lower half of the shield is divided, with three six-pointed stars arranged in a horizontal row above a base of wavy lines representing water. The initials C.V. appear in the exergue below the shield. A fine outer toothed rim encircles the entire composition.

附加信息

Cammin — now Kamień Pomorski in northwestern Poland — issued this zinc notgeld piece in 1918 as the German military's demand for copper and nickel gutted the imperial coinage supply. Municipal emergency money of this kind was largely a local administrative decision; city councils applied to regional authorities, designed the pieces themselves, and contracted local or regional mints to strike them. The result was enormous variation in quality and material across Pomeranian towns issuing simultaneously.

Zinc was the fallback of last resort, prone to corrosion and difficult to strike cleanly at low thicknesses.
