Obverse description A fine pearl border runs along the outer rim, enclosing a circular rope-twist inner border within which the large numeral '10' is prominently centered in the field. The legend STADT BITBURG arcs across the upper portion of the coin between the two borders, while the date 1919 appears in the lower segment, flanked on each side by a raised dot separator. The overall design is plain and utilitarian, consistent with German Notgeld emergency coinage of the post-World War I period.
