| Obverse description | The upper portion carries a curved yellow banner with black text stating the validity condition, flanked by red and blue decorative stripes, above a scroll-style cartouche bearing a Low German verse in Gothic script. At centre, a circular yellow vignette displays the municipal arms of Laage — a bull's head in blue — inscribed 'STADT LAAGE' and flanked by red six-pointed stars. Large guilloche-filled numeral '10' appears to the left and right of the vignette, with the denomination 'PFENNIG' spelled out in bold yellow letters punctuated by blue stars along the lower register; the issuing authority 'DER RAT DER STADT LAAGE' and three manuscript signatures are printed at foot. |
