备注	Kreis Winsen was one of hundreds of German administrative districts that resorted to printing their own small-denomination Notgeld during the acute coin shortage of 1917–1921. These municipal and district issues filled a genuine gap — copper and nickel had been diverted for war production, and the Reichsbank had no mechanism to supply low-value coinage to rural communities at scale. Winsen an der Luhe, a modest market town in the Lüneburg Heath, had neither the resources nor the pretension of the larger city issuers. At this size and denomination, losses to everyday wear were catastrophic. Survivors in any clean state are proportionally rarer than the large-format issues from the same period.
