正面描述 The note is divided into three vertical panels with a pink-rose underprint and an olive-yellow border. The central panel contains a line-engraved vignette of a sailing boat on open water with a figure aboard and a large wave breaking in the background. The left panel carries a verse in Gothic blackletter script, while the right panel bears the issuing authority text and three manuscript facsimile signatures above the denomination numeral '10 PFENNIG' set in bold yellow letterpress within a ruled band at the foot.
正面铭文 Draesig: Wasser auswendig is schon slimm, sehr slimm, aber inwendig, da hat es ne grausame Wirkung, aber gut ist's doch!

备注

Bad Kleinen is a small railway junction town in Mecklenburg, and like hundreds of German municipalities it issued its own emergency paper money — Notgeld — during the severe coin shortage that followed the First World War. These small-denomination pieces were printed locally or by regional printers in enormous variety, often serving as much as collectibles-by-design as genuine circulating currency. The 10 Pfennig denomination sits at the lower edge of what towns typically bothered to issue, where the administrative cost of printing almost matched the face value.
