正面描述	The obverse is framed by a fine decorative border with a guilloche-patterned underprint. At centre, the Saxon coat of arms is flanked on either side by the denomination numeral '10' above the word 'Pfennig'. A circular arc inscription reads 'Amtshauptmannschaft Auerbach i.V.' around the arms. The upper field carries the validity inscription in Gothic script, and the lower portion bears the issuing authority's name and a manuscript signature of the Amtshauptmann.

The Bezirksverband der Amtshauptmannschaft was a district administrative body, not a bank, which tells you exactly how desperate the shortage was: bureaucratic offices with no monetary authority were printing money. Vogtland Notgeld of this period was typically produced by local printers with modest facilities, and quality varied sharply across the region.
