备注

Malchow is a small town in Mecklenburg, and like hundreds of similarly sized German municipalities in 1921–1923, it issued its own emergency small-change notes — Kleingeldscheine — to compensate for the near-total disappearance of low-denomination coins from circulation. Rampant hoarding and metal shortages had stripped everyday commerce of its working change, and local authorities stepped in with printed paper to keep market stalls and shopkeepers functional.

The DeNG reference places this within the third subtype of the Malchow series, suggesting at least minor typographic or color variants exist across the issue — worth checking against the other suffixed listings before cataloging multiples.
