| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a central text panel with a script-lettered denomination "Zehn Pfennig" over a pale yellow underprint numeral "10", flanked on both sides by decorative columns of the Bavarian lozenge pattern in blue and white. The issuing authority is inscribed at the top in Gothic script as "Notgeld der Gemeinde Königssee", with the place and date "Königssee, 26. März 1921" below the denomination. The border consists of an ornate dark green guilloche-style frame with blue foliate corner flourishes, and the printer's imprint "MEINDL, MÜNCHEN-PASING" appears at the bottom margin. |
