The denomination '10' appears in bold at upper left and upper right corners, with the large script legend 'Zehn Pfennig' spanning the upper portion. At centre, a large red circular wax-seal vignette bears the arms of Ronneburg and the date 1614, surrounded by the legend 'RONNEBURG'. The city arms — a quartered shield with a rampant lion — appear in the upper left corner within a frame. The denomination '10' is repeated at upper right and '10 Pfg.' at lower right, all set against a wavy guilloche underprint filling the margins.
