背面描述 The reverse carries a richly coloured vignette of the village pond (Dorfteich) at Krug, with cattle watering at the foreground, figures gathered near the water's edge, and a dramatic rocky, tree-covered embankment in the background, all executed in a multi-colour lithographic style by Kunstanstalt Langebartels & Jürgens of Altona. The denomination "10 Pf." appears in red on diamond-shaped cartouches at left and right within an ornamental border of Gothic strapwork in green and brown. A Low German verse inscription in blackletter script runs along the upper and lower margins.

备注

Groß Flottbek was a wealthy garden suburb west of Hamburg — technically independent until its incorporation into Hamburg in 1938 — and its Notgeld issues reflect the prosperous, aesthetically self-conscious communities that treated emergency small-change currency as an opportunity for local promotion. Langebartels & Jürgens in Altona printed extensively for Hamburg-area municipalities during the 1921 Notgeld wave, and the print run here of over twelve million is substantial for a village-scale issuer, suggesting deliberate overproduction for the collector trade rather than genuine circulation need.

By 1921, the functional Notgeld shortage had largely passed — what remained was a speculative market driven by hobbyist demand, and many communes printed far beyond any local monetary requirement.
