The central field presents two circular vignettes flanking a heraldic shield bearing a rampant lion; the left medallion references the Battle of Mühlberg (1547) with a scene of armored figures, while the right medallion shows a mounted rider with a kneeling prisoner and the Latin legend MISERE RE MEI DOMINE.
