Reverse description The reverse, printed in violet-pink and blue on cream paper, centres on a detailed letterpress vignette of the Patschkau Rathaus (town hall) with its tall clock tower, labelled 'Rathaus' beneath. To the left, a humorous vignette shows gnome-like figures operating fire-fighting equipment, accompanied by an advertising text for 'Huch-Feuer / W. Schmidt' and the slogan 'Kieslich Motorspritzen löschen jedes'; to the right, a complementary vignette portrays a figure at a drawing board advertising 'Zeichen Geräte / A. Schneider', with the text 'Die trübsten Zeiten merkt die Geschichte, erleuchten Müller's Kerzen und Lichte.' The denomination '10' with a currency symbol appears at upper centre, and an oak-leaf border frames the entire composition.
