| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a large scenic vignette in fine line illustration style, depicting a flower parade (Blumencorso) on the Baalensee lake, with rowing boats, a sailing vessel, and a steamboat on the water before a wooded shoreline and the Hotel Weger at right. Denomination panels in deep red with white numerals '10 Pf' are set into the upper corners. A text cartouche at the top in Gothic script identifies Fürstenberg in Mecklenburg as a resort destination, and a caption beneath reads 'Blumencorso auf dem Baalensee'. |

Fürstenberg an der Havel — not to be confused with the Mecklenburg town of the same name on the Elde — issued a wave of small-denomination Notgeld in the early 1920s as the postwar coin shortage made even 10-Pfennig pieces effectively unavailable. Municipal and commercial issuers across Germany printed millions of these emergency scrip notes, and the vast majority were redeemed and pulped once Reichsbank coin supply stabilized, making surviving uncirculated examples less common than the print runs suggest.
