| Obverse description | Tan-toned notgeld on a brown underprint, centred on a stylised white swan with wings fully spread set against decorative foliate clouds. Gothic blackletter inscriptions read 'Zehn' at upper left and 'Pfennig' at upper right, while the lower portion carries the issuing authority text, place and date 'Schwanebeck d. 1 April 1921', and the signature of 'Der Magistrat' with a hand-stamped red serial number at lower right. The printer's imprint 'Louis Koch, Halberstadt' appears vertically along the right margin. |
