To the upper left and right, circular cartouches bear the denomination numeral '10' with 'Pfg.' below, framed by an arched banner inscribed 'Notgeld der Stadt Tannroda'. The lower half is divided by a green guilloche underprint panel containing the date and validity clause, flanked by two hexagonal ornamental devices; the town coat of arms appears in a rectangular frame at upper left, and a poetic verse is set in a text panel at upper right. |
