The large Gothic numeral '10' dominates the centre field, with the abbreviation 'Pfge' (Pfennige) set immediately below, flanked left and right by circular guilloche rosettes. The issuer name 'Waldenburg' runs along the upper margin in Gothic Kurrent script, while the legend 'Ein Notgroschen' appears along the lower margin. |

Aug. 1921' and the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat' are given in the body of the text, with the denomination numeral '10' placed in the upper-right and lower-left corners. Two abbreviated facsimile signatory names, 'Rud.' and 'Leo.', appear at the foot of the text block. |
