Obverse description Blue-grey letterpress note with a geometric guilloche underprint covering the entire field. At centre, an oval vignette presents a traditional Bürgel stoneware tea service — teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, cup and saucer — rendered in fine detail against a plain ground. The denomination '10 Pf' appears in bold Fraktur script at upper left and upper right, flanked by validity clauses in smaller Fraktur text. Below the vignette, the issuing authority 'Bürgel i/Th., Der Stadtgemeindevorstand' is inscribed alongside a manuscript signature of the Bürgermeister and the date '28. Mai 1921'.

Reverse description Brown-toned letterpress reverse with a large central vignette of Saint George on horseback slaying a dragon, set against a backdrop of a church spire, flanked by two ceremonial lances draped with banners. Flanking the central shield-shaped vignette, various pieces of traditional Bürgel pottery — jugs, vases, bowls, and a lidded vessel — are arranged symmetrically at lower left and right. The denomination '10 Pfennig' appears twice in Fraktur alongside ornate numeral cartouches, with the legend 'ST. GEORGIUS EQUITUM PATRONUS' on a ribbon scroll below the central image. The printer's imprints 'Max Eisenach, Barmen' and 'Lichtdruck Alfred Eisenach, Bürgel' appear at lower left and lower right respectively.
