| Obverse description | Olive-green patterned underprint covers the central field, flanked by ornate black scrollwork vignettes at left and right. The denomination '10 Pfennig' is printed in large Gothic blackletter type at centre, above the validity clause 'Dieser Gutschein erlischt 3 Monate nach Aufruf.' A serial number appears at lower left alongside the issuing authority line 'Der Magistrat:' with a manuscript signature; the bottom panel carries the inscription 'Stadt Sondershausen' in bold Gothic lettering, and the top border reads 'Notgeld' flanked by rows of decorative circles. |
