背面描述 Cream-toned note within a thin rectangular border, with a two-line literary quotation in blackletter script at the top, attributed to "Betty Paoli (Elisabeth Glück)". The word "Notgeld" is set in large, bold Gothic letterpress across the centre of the note. At foot, the denomination "10 Pf." appears at lower left and right, with the place name "Waldenburg in Schlesien", the issue date "16. August 1921", and the authority "Der Magistrat" centred below.

备注

Waldenburg — known today as Wałbrzych in southwestern Poland — was a coal-mining center whose municipal notgeld issues of the early 1920s reflect the chronic small-change shortages that plagued German commerce after the First World War. The city issued multiple denominations in tight sequence as the Reichsbank struggled to keep low-value coinage in circulation against rampant hoarding and metal shortages.

The watermark on a note this small is worth noting — many Kleingeldscheine of comparable size skipped security features entirely, relying on short print runs and local distribution to deter counterfeiting. Its presence here suggests the printer had access to pre-marked stock, possibly sourced from a regional paper supplier rather than a specialist security printer.
