| Obverse description | Brown-toned Notgeld note with a light blue-grey header panel bearing the town name 'Solnhofen' in bold Gothic script. At centre, a full-length vignette of a standing male figure on a stepped pedestal — Aloys Senefelder, inventor of lithography — flanked on either side by large numeral '10' denominators in letterpress. The lower cartouche, divided by decorative scroll ornaments, carries the inscription 'Aloys Senefelder – Erfinder der Lithographie'; to the right, the issuing authority, date (1. Juli 21), a manuscript signature, and a printed serial number are arranged in two columns. |
