| Obverse description | Pink note printed over a fine guilloche underprint, with the denomination "Zehn Pfennig" in bold Gothic blackletter script across the upper register and "GUTSCHEIN" in large roman capitals centred below. An ornate vignette of a female figure with outstretched arms is set within a decorative foliate cartouche at centre, beneath which the issuing authority "DER STADT DÜBEN" appears flanked by the manuscript signatures of the Magistrat and the Stadtverordnetenvorsteher. The place name "DÜBEN" and date "1. Nov. 1919" are situated at lower left, with a serial number at lower right. |

A large scallop-edged oval medallion at centre encloses a heraldic shield surmounted by a winged angel's head, flanked by elaborate acanthus scrollwork rendered in fine letterpress. The printer's imprint "GEBR PARCUS MÜNCHEN" is inscribed in small capitals along the lower edge of the central medallion. |
