| Obverse description | Dark blue letterpress on light grey guilloche underprint. The denomination '10 PFENNIG' is set in large bold type at centre-left, with the serial number printed below in a hatched panel. To the right stands a full-length vignette of Jan von Werth, the celebrated Cologne cavalry general, rendered in fine line engraving. The upper and lower borders carry the inscription 'STADT KÖLN 1921' in white letters on a dark band, while the series letter and number appear in red at upper right. A red circular official municipal stamp is applied at lower left, alongside the manuscript signature of the Oberbürgermeister and the printed name 'J. v.
