SOEST, DEN 1. MAI 1920
DER MAGISTRAT:
Reverse description Purple and black bicolour reverse with a serrated outer border matching the obverse. The denomination numeral '10' appears in bold Gothic type at each upper corner, with 'PFG.' in large capitals at the lower corners. The central design comprises a finely engraved oval vignette showing a panoramic townscape of Soest with a Gothic church — likely St. Petri or St. Pauli — its twin spires rising above half-timbered houses and trees reflected in a foreground pond, rendered in detailed letterpress line work. The printer's imprint 'EDLER & KRISCHE, HANNOVER.' is typeset in small capitals along the bottom margin beneath the vignette.
