A serial number in bold sans-serif type is set within a rectangular frame at the top, prefixed by 'Nr.' in Fraktur. The central vignette comprises a circular frame enclosing a heraldic eagle displayed above a decorative floral spray. Flanking the vignette, the redemption text in Fraktur script is split into two columns, detailing the conditions of validity; the issuing place and date 'Weener, den 17. August 1920' appear below, and the printer's imprint 'Edler & Krische, Hannover.' is printed at the foot. |
