| Obverse description | Printed on an ochre-toned paper with a fine wave-pattern underprint throughout. The issuer's name 'Weener a. d. Ems' is set in large Fraktur script at the top, beneath which a central circular guilloche rosette serves as the principal design element. The denomination numeral '10' appears in bold Fraktur at both left and right flanks, with the word 'Pfennig' centered within the guilloche, repeated in smaller type at lower left and right.
