| 背面描述 | Dark blue-black letterpress print on cream paper, centred on a fine line-engraved vignette of Bautzen's historic Reichenturm and adjacent city wall with towers, the ensemble reflected in the river below. Two vertical panels of intricate guilloche latticework flank the central scene, each bearing the denomination numeral '10' in white on a solid black rectangular cartouche. The printer's imprint 'JOHANNES PASSLER DRESDEN-N.' runs in small capitals along the lower margin. |

| 备注 |
Bautzen's 1920 Kleingeldersatz note belongs to the vast wave of municipal Notgeld issued across Germany as the postwar coin shortage made even small-denomination transactions difficult. The city's decision to contract Johannes Pässler in Dresden-Neustadt rather than one of the major specialist printers reflected the practical urgency — local and regional shops were printing emergency change faster than any centralized system could supply it.
Pässler was primarily a commercial stationer and printer, not a banknote house. That distinction matters for condition assessment: the paper stock and ink quality on Pässler-produced Notgeld tend to be more variable than issues from specialist security printers.
