The Stadt Paderborn issues were notably prolific — over twelve million impressions of this denomination alone — which suggests genuine mass circulation rather than the speculative collector editions some German towns were already printing by 1920 with deliberate artificial scarcity.
Jos. Dominicus was a local Paderborn commercial artist, not a professional banknote engraver, and that distinction shows in the workmanship. The printing run's sheer volume means surviving examples are common; condition rather than rarity drives any collector premium here.
