| 正面铭文 | 10 STADT ZAHNA 10 GUT FÜR PFENNIG 10 PFENNIG ZAHNA den 1. 10 C. ZIEHLKE. LIEBENWERDA 10 |
| 背面描述 | The reverse repeats the obverse layout in brown and ochre on cream paper, with the same geometric guilloche border and four corner '10' medallions; the Zahna municipal arms vignette appears at the top centre flanked by 'STADT ZAHNA' and 'GUT FÜR', and the central oval guilloche again carries the large '10' numeral with 'PFENNIG' to each side. Two facsimile magistrate signatures and the date '1. Juni 1920' are printed below the central vignette, with the redemption clause and the printer's imprint 'C. ZIEHLKE. LIEBENWERDA' at the foot; the guilloche border pattern appears in a perceptibly darker tone than on the obverse. |

| 备注 |
Zahna is a small town in the Wittenberg district of Saxony-Anhalt, and its 1920 notgeld issue belongs to the enormous wave of municipal emergency currency that flooded Germany during the coin shortage following the First World War. C. Ziehlke was a regional printer in Liebenwerda — a short distance away — and handled notgeld contracts for several small Saxon municipalities during this period, none of them large enough to attract the major Leipzig or Berlin printing houses.
The 10 Pfennig denomination is among the most practically motivated of the notgeld series: exact change had effectively vanished from everyday commerce by 1920, and towns like Zahna had little choice but to print their own.
