背面描述 The reverse is printed in red and dark green, with the same scrollwork border and corner numerals '10' as the obverse. A large central oval, surrounded by bold acanthus and floral ornaments in red, bears the denomination 'Zehn Pfennig' in large Gothic script at the top. The municipal coat of arms of Freienwalde in Pommern — a quartered shield with a six-pointed star and a cartwheel — is placed centrally, flanked by the issuance date 'November 1920'. The issuing authority 'Freienwalde i. Pomm.' is inscribed in Gothic lettering at the base of the oval.

备注

Freienwalde in Pommern — not to be confused with Bad Freienwalde in Brandenburg — issued this note as part of the vast wave of municipal Notgeld that flooded Germany between 1919 and 1921, when chronic small-coin shortages forced local governments, businesses, and even private clubs to print their own low-denomination scrip. The Magistrat here turned to the Görlitzer Nachrichten und Anzeiger, a regional newspaper and commercial print operation in Görlitz, Silesia — a common choice for smaller Pomeranian municipalities that lacked access to specialist security printers.

The 70 × 47 mm format is notably small even within the Notgeld series, which already trended toward pocket-sized issues.
