| Obverse description | Green note with a dark blue scalloped border of alternating dots and arches enclosing the entire design. The denomination "Zehn Pfennig" is rendered in large Gothic blackletter script across the upper field, flanked by the words "in" and "bar" at mid-height. A central dark vignette, shaped as an octagonal rosette with a dotted surround, carries the bold numeral "10" above the abbreviation "Pfg." At the lower field, "Stadt" and "Lüben" appear in large Gothic letters flanking the central vignette, with the validity clause "Gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920.", the redemption notice "Einlösung erfolgt bis Ende 1920 durch die Stadthauptkasse.", the place and date "Lüben, den 15. Oktober 1919.", and the authority signature line "Der Magistrat" with a manuscript signature below. The printer's imprint "Fernbach, Bunzlau." appears in the lower margin outside the border. |
