| 备注 |
Löbau's Amtshauptmannschaft issued this 10 Pfennig Notgeld in 1918 as small-denomination coinage disappeared almost entirely from German circulation — hoarded, melted, or absorbed by wartime metal requisitions. District-level authorities across Saxony stepped in to fill the gap, producing emergency paper in tiny print runs that rarely traveled far beyond the issuing municipality.
Löbau itself was a modest textile district in eastern Saxony, and its Notgeld was purely functional — no artistic ambition, no commemorative angle. The notes were redeemable locally and largely pulled from circulation within a year or two of issue.
