Central text in blackletter (Fraktur) type reads 'Notgeld über: Zehn Pfennig', with the place and date of issue below, followed by the authority line 'Der Stadtgemeindevorstand' accompanied by a manuscript signature and an official circular red cachет. The issuer legend 'Stadtgemeinde Triptis i. Thüringen' runs along the upper border, redemption-point inscriptions are set vertically in the side margins, and the validity clause 'Giltig bis 31. Dezember 1920' appears at the foot. |
