| Obverse description | Single-sided Notgeld voucher printed in dark brown on cream paper, with an ornate guilloche border incorporating interlaced foliate cartouches and the numeral '10' at each corner. The central text, set in Gothic blackletter script, reads 'Zehn Pfennig' within a decorative frame, above the date line 'EMMENDINGEN, den 1. August 1917.'
