A large circular vignette at centre contains a finely engraved woodcut-style illustration of a bearded armoured warrior or Landsknecht figure crouching beside a cannon and a barrel, smoke rising behind him, rendered in dark brown and cream. The denomination numeral '10' appears in bold red on both the left and right flanks of the vignette. The header inscription arches across the top in Gothic script, and the town name is set in large blackletter across the lower margin, flanked by small floral ornaments. |
