| 正面描述 | The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield with a key, a rising sun, and a royal palm, flanked by an oak branch on the left and a laurel branch on the right, surmounted by the Phrygian cap on a pole. The legend 'REPUBLICA DE CUBA' arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination '10 PESOS' appears along the lower rim. The coin's silver fineness and weight are indicated on either side of the arms in the fields, reading 'AG 0.999' and '15G' respectively. |

The Rayo was a mid-19th-century topsail schooner that became one of the most celebrated vessels in Cuban maritime history, operating primarily in Caribbean coastal trade before being repurposed during periods of conflict. Cuba's commemorative silver program of the late 1990s and early 2000s drew heavily on nautical subjects, partly as hard-currency earners for a state still absorbing the economic shock of the Soviet collapse a decade prior.
