Obverse description The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield divided into three sections: the upper portion shows a golden key between two rocky promontories and a rising sun, the lower-left features alternating blue and white stripes representing the sea, and the lower-right displays a royal palm tree. The shield is surmounted by a Phrygian cap atop a fasces, and flanked by a wreath of oak branches to the left and laurel to the right. The legend REPUBLICA DE CUBA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 10 PESOS appears at the bottom, flanked by the weight specification 15 G to the lower left and the silver fineness AG 0,999 to the lower right.
