| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black intaglio over a salmon-pink guilloche underprint. At centre, a classical allegorical female figure seated in three-quarter view occupies the main vignette, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. Diamond-shaped guilloche panels carrying the numeral 10 appear at left and right, with the bold legend CASA DE MONEDA DE MEDELLÍN arched across the upper portion and the denomination DIEZ PESOS ORO ACUÑADO in a panel at lower centre, dated Septiembre de 1919. |
