Reverse description The coat of arms of the State of Oaxaca is prominently displayed at the center of the field, rendered on a scroll-shaped shield surmounted by a small depiction of the national eagle emblem. The shield features the state's heraldic imagery including pre-Columbian figures and architectural elements, encircled by the state motto EL RESPETO AL DERECHO AJENO ES LA PAZ. The curved legend ESTADO DE OAXACA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination $10 appears in large numerals at the base. The mintmark Mo and date 2004 are positioned symmetrically in the middle field to the left and right of the shield respectively, with the legend ESTADO LIBRE Y SOBERANO DE OAXACA inscribed on the lower scroll banner. A border of raised dots frames the entire design.
