| Obverse description | The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield surmounted by a Phrygian cap atop a fasces, the shield itself divided into three sections showing a golden key between two coastal promontories, a rising sun over the sea, and a royal palm tree against a mountainous landscape.
