Popis líce	The Dominican Republic national arms occupies the central field, featuring a shield supported by a laurel branch on the left and a palm branch on the right, with a ribbon above bearing the motto 'DIOS PATRIA LIBERTAD' and a scroll below inscribed 'REPUBLICA DOMINICANA'. The circular legend 'REPUBLICA DOMINICANA' arcs along the upper periphery in bold raised lettering, flanked by a five-pointed star at lower left and lower right. The date '1982' appears prominently in the lower exergual area, preceded by the mintmark of the Casa de Moneda de Chile (CHI) to its left.
