In the lower right, the monument of El Pípila — the heroic miner of the War of Independence — is depicted. The denomination $10, the mint mark Mo, the year 2006, and the state name GUANAJUATO are inscribed within the field, completing the composition of this issue from the Mexican States commemorative series.
