| Obverse description | Black letterpress print on a brown underprint with elaborate guilloche cornerpieces bearing the numeral 10 at each corner and a fine lace-border frame running the full perimeter. The issuer's title in ornate Gothic script occupies the upper portion, with the denomination DIEZ PESOS set in a central rectangular cartouche below the legend VALE POR. A red serial number and Serie C designation appear at mid-field, followed by manuscript-style text in cursive script referencing the Treasury and the Decree of 26 April 1913, dated Monclova, Coah., 28 de mayo de 1913, with two manuscript signatures at the foot under the titles JEFE DEL DEPARTAMENTO DE HACIENDA and TESORERO GENERAL. |
