| 背面描述 | The reverse is printed entirely in brownish-red on cream paper and consists of an elaborate lathe-work guilloche design covering the full field, with large interlocking circular rosettes containing fine engine-turned patterns and the denomination numeral '10' repeated in each corner within ornamental cartouches. No pictorial vignettes or text legends appear; the design relies entirely on the intricate geometric underprint for visual security. |

| 备注 |
The Banco Nacional was Argentina's first major government-sponsored bank of issue, established in 1872 with backing from the national treasury. It operated for barely a decade before collapsing under unsustainable lending practices and the pressures of speculative capital — the note-issuing privilege it briefly held passed to successor institutions after 1876.
American Bank Note Company produced this series from their Broadway facility at a time when ABNC held near-total dominance over South American government printing contracts. The PS designation places it firmly in the Argentine provincial and national bank series, where surviving 1873-dated Banco Nacional notes are considerably scarcer than later reissues.
